Australia is the seventh best country in the world to be a mum in. According to the 13th annual State of the World’s Mothers report released by Save the Children this week, Norway is the best place to be a mother, while Niger is the worst. The Mothers Index analyses health, education and economic conditions for women and children in 165 countries around the world each year. To adjudicate Australia seventh is sparkling testament to our strong health, welfare and education systems. With things so good for Australian women bearing children, it’s no surprise that mums are taking to the start-up scene like never before.
