Australia is the seventh best country in the world to be a mum in. According to the 13th annual State of the World’s Mothers report released by Save the Children this week, Norway is the best place to be a mother, while Niger is the worst. The Mothers Index analyses health, education and economic conditions for women and children in 165 countries around the world each year.
