Russian long jumper Sergei Morgunov has broken the world record among juniors, which had stayed unchallenged for almost 40 years.During a national junior championship in the Volga River city of Cheboksary, Morgunov soared to 8 m 36 cm., breaking by one centimeter the previous record set four decades earlier by American jumper Randy Williams.
