It had prviously been thought theoretical that GPS spoofing could attack an aerial vehicle and brought under control. A research team at the University of Texas at Austin has proved it practical. Also, last year, a US military drone reconnoitoring in Iran was commandeered by tweeking its GPS signals. The demonstration by research team is a wake-up call as drones could be interefered with to crash into people or buildings or at
