Nearly a quarter of European renewable energy firms ripe for takeover, study finds


A new study by Research and Markets has found that nearly one-fourth of 450 European renewable energy companies it has studied are ripe for takeover, and several other businesses are struggling after seeing sales fall last year. However, not all is doom and gloom, in the report, as 84 out of the 450 companies actually saw their sales increase by greater than 10 percent last year. The study relied on the unique Plimsoll method of analysis, wherein each of the companies wasassessed and ranked against each other and then compared to industry averages. Using the most up-to-date financial information available, the two-page per company analysis provides detailed financial analysis for each organisation.
