The Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory hosted a jubilee concert on the occasion of the 520th anniversary of the discovery of America on Friday.
The participants in the concert which was titled The Bridge of Friendship: Columbia-Russia, presented hot Latin American compositions and European masterpieces. Young musicians from Russia and Columbia impressed the audience by a brilliant performance of a large number of compositions written by Marquez, Alvarez, Hernandez, Georges Bizet, Russian composer and conductor Yevgeny Svetlanov and Russian contemporary musician Yefrem Podgaitz.
