Chennai: India crushed Australia today by eight wickets at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium here and took 1-0 lead in four-match Test series. Australia were all out for 241 in their second innings, setting India a 50-run target on the final day of the first cricket Test. India chased down the target within 12 overs with Pujara (8*) hitting the winning run. Tendulkar was unbeaten on 13 after hitting two mighty sixes off spinner Lyon. Australia, resuming at 232 for nine, added just nine runs before being packed up in 30 minutes. Moises Henriques remained unbeaten on 81 and Nathan Lyon (11) was dismissed by left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja, who finished with three for 72.
