Leading bollywood actor Aamir Khan has been featured in the cover of TIMES Magazines and has been listed among World's 100 most influential people in its annual list of global achievers. The list also includes finance minister P Chidambaram, teenaged Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai and US President Barack Obama. Aamir Khan has made it for the second time. Earlier, he was on the cover of the Asian edition of the magazine in 2012. The 48 years old hard working actor, director and producer is featured on Times cover for his contributions to raise social awareness in India through aTV show 'Satyamev Jayate' that have created awareness among common people about the social stigma's ranging from sexual abuse, feticide to caste discrimination. Aamir, also known as Mr Perfectionist, who have already left an impact on Hindi Cinema with his excellent acting is now the Social Hero of the country and has been listed under the "Pioneers" category by Times Magazine for his continuous efforts in bringing social change. On being featured on the cover of times magazine, India's leading composer and acadmey award winner A.R.Rehman said "In a world of false diplomacy and evasiveness, Aamir is a straightforward man," Aamir Khan, 48, the Bollywood star who wins praise from composer A.R. Rahman, "has been chosen for using his influence to raise social awareness in India." "He uses his gifts as a charmer to give his audience the most bitter medicine. Hypnotized, we take it without complaint," he added. "Aamir has started a movement that will help change the world in which Indians live.
