Ssangyong Motor Unveils Tivoli Long Body Concept Car

By Lee Kyung-H0 (info@koreatimes.com): Ssangyong Motor unveiled its concept car XLV-Air and XAV-Adventure at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2015. The XLV-Air is a mass-production concept car which is developed ahead of the releasing of the compact SUV Tivoli Long Body. The concept car expresses the power of the nature and its dynamics on the basis of Ssangyong Motor’s design philosophy “Nature-born 3Motion.” Its powertrain portfolio includes a 1.6-liter gasoline and diesel which comply with the Euro 6 gas emission standards, while featuring the combination of six-speed automatic and manual transmission, with the optional 4W drive system. The XAV-Adventure is a concept car with its design embodying the respect for Ssangyong’s flagship SUV Korando and re-interpretation of traditional off-roader. In the meantime, Ssangyong Motor used the Frankfurt Motor Show as a place to announce the official sales launch of the Tivoli Diesel in Europe. By the end of this year, Ssangyong Motor plans to make an entry into eight new European markets, including Denmark, Finland, and three Baltic states, bringing the total number of countries where it is engaged in marketing, up to 122 from current 114. vSource: http://www.koreaittimes.com/
