At least 63 Taliban militants have been killed and at least 29 others were seriously injured in a clash with Afghan forces in the Southern Taliban-occupied province of Kandahar.
The Afghan army said in a statement on Sunday that there had been casualties in the three-day raid against the Taliban in Kandahar.
The Afghan Defense Ministry said in a statement that the raid was carried out in the city of Kandahar and five surrounding districts under the air force.
