Now US Supreme Court rejects Trump’s lawsuits

Now the outgoing President Donald Trump also lost in the United States’ Supreme Court. The court has dismissed a lawsuit filed by Trump.

The US presidential election was held on 3 November. Trump has accused of vote-rigging in various states since the election. Trump’s campaign has also filed lawsuits in several states, although, these cases have been dismissed.

A court in the state of Pennsylvania has also dismissed a lawsuit filed by Trump’s campaign camp. However, the Trump camp approached the Supreme Court on the appeal of this case. Trump hoped for getting the help of three conservative judges that he appointed to the Supreme Court, but he got a big disadvantage from there.

The Supreme Court has rejected a lawsuit filed by several Republicans in Pennsylvania challenging the results of the 3 Nov. election, including Mike Kelly, a close ally of Trump and a member of Congress.

Despite winning the state in 2016, Republican President Donald Trump lost to Joe Biden in this year’s election. Pennsylvania officials have already confirmed the election results are “correct” and have backed Joe Biden’s victory.

Trump has been claiming that “he has won for the second time” since the election. He did not concede his position after the election results showed Biden’s victory. He has even filed lawsuits challenging the election results in different states one after another.

Democrats and other critics say Trump is trying to undermine public confidence in the integrity of the US election.“The election is over,” Pennsylvania Democrat Attorney General Josh Shapiro wrote in a tweet. “We should stop playing cases now and move forward.” Source: S
