Founder and CEO Derrick Hayes said the location in Section 107 will offer fans easier access to Big Dave's signature menu items, including cheesesteaks, seasoned fries and chicken tenders. Additionally, the stadium outpost will debut a new menu offering: The fried chicken cheesesteak.
"We are thrilled to secure this four-year deal with Mercedes-Benz Stadium, further expanding the reach of Big Dave's Cheesesteaks," Hayes said in the release. "This partnership aligns perfectly with our mission to bring our exceptional food to even more fans and event-goers. We look forward to being a proud sponsor and delivering an unparalleled dining experience at one of the world's premier sports and entertainment destinations."
Big Dave's has been a fixture at Mercedes-Benz Stadium since 2022, consistently ranking among the stadium's most popular food options. The company seeks additional stadium partnerships, hinting at future announcements.
The agreement marks a significant step for Big Dave's, solidifying its presence within Atlanta's culinary scene.
Hayes will further extend his involvement with the stadium through his appointment as an ambassador for the Westside Works Culinary Program. This initiative, co-hosted by Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Levy Restaurants, provides a six-week culinary education program for students.
"We are truly excited to have Derrick join the Westside Works Culinary Program," Crystal Jones-Peck, director, operations food and beverage, Levy Restaurants at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, said in the release. "We want to utilize Derrick's story and success as inspiration to all program participants and students."
Hayes will leverage his experience and network to expand the program's reach and impact. He will participate in speaking engagements, including graduation ceremonies, culinary demonstrations, and community events, all aimed at inspiring students to explore careers in the culinary arts.
His involvement also includes establishing partnerships with prominent culinary establishments, specifically targeting job opportunities for Westside Works graduates at Big Dave's Cheesesteaks. This collaborative effort aims to equip students with valuable culinary skills and provide real-world experience to launch their careers.
