A Surat based diamond baron has gifted his employees brand new cars, diamond jewellery and even homes as a Diwali gift for meeting targets for the year. The diamond industry in Surat district of Gujarat may not be passing through the most dazzling phases in its history but diamond baron Palki Savjibhai Dholakia's employees were still rewarded for their hard work. Palki Savjibhai Dholakia, a diamond merchant based in Surat who runs Hrishikesh Exporters, showered his employees with a massive bonus. He gifted 200 workers houses, 525 have received diamond jewellery and 491 have been gifted brand new cars.
